| Eh..boring episode, awful pacing and lack of explanation. The music seemed unfitting in so many parts and it didn't have any direct focus. Almost fell asleep watching this from how sloppy it was, even the action scenes were dull but I actually like the art style. I might wait an episode or two for it to pick up, but this is a crappy first impression. |
| Don't really think it needs explanation. It's based on a monster hunter RPG, should be pretty obvious how the game mechanics work into the world. Also the new cell thing they found made all the monsters accident and then they use it make weapons which can fight the monsters with the cells. |

| Pacing was....odd.... CGI worked, and then sometimes it didn't, and the overused fancy effects got kind of repetitive. Still enjoyable though, just hoping the pacing speeds up a bit. |

| too much slowmo. I don't know why I watched this, but I actually liked the artstyle and stayed for it pretty generic plot and an indifferent 1st episode + main character this will probably be bad too much slowmo. |

| Was this now a shitty game or a shitty anime? Anyway, way too many animators messed this episode up (and maybe the following) Plot wise, not much to say // already being known from the game. But the look of the anime itself is just bad. It's like Cell-shading in anime? Like the non CG part wants to be CG? It's unique, but not positive way. Don't know. It's another of of these "ufotable stuff" I like to avoid since the fans will hype it anyway. Hope this gets better or end fast and painless. Edit v1: And that slow-mo - hella dramatic. HELLA unneeded as well. Sorry for the guys who actually were waiting for this. |
| The animation style is a bit strange which I can get used to, but damn, the MC is generic AF! The story doesn't seems to be anything special either so far. Soundtracks were somewhat decent though. Just waiting for best girl Alisa to show up. Well, even she probably won't be enough to save the show. |

| this kinda reminds me of attack on titan but i know this came out before so it's not a ripoff. the episode wasn't bad but i hope this has more action than anything because the characters seem boring. especially the mc. ost and animation were good though |

God Eaters protecting them using weapons names God Arcs is cool I guess. Main character is not indecisive which is good. OK start. How long does the game take to complete? Just wondering~ |

| I had zero expectations for GE and it left me unsatisfied. The story is nothing new. You've got your MC having the dire need to eradicate these monsters that are threatening humanity. *insert similar titles here* Surprisingly, the MC isn't angsty and is willing to participate in training. Character designs and monster designs are intriguing. I still question the size of the bracelets these characters wear. The art style is definitely eye-catching, but something about it seems strange. The different tones of shading gives an illusion that they were probably replicating the video game perhaps? (Of course with a touch of Ufotable's style) I guess it will take a while for my eyes to adjust. I'm giving this one a few more episodes. |

| I hoped the animation would be close to fsn and fate zero quality...but has been dissapointed..still animation is very good..Way too many slow mo's.They need to be cut down..op and ending songs are good..overall a good start..3/5 |

| The art style looked strange for me at first glance, but it was ok after that. They changed the beginning of the game, but looks like they will make Soma's first mission with the MC in the next episode, so we will see Erik again ~ It's just me or Amamiya boobs were twice bigger than the normal? XD Also Alisa's fanservice in the OP is always good to see. :3 Love that underboobs <3 MC looks fine to me, and I want more Kota in the next ep. ;w; 3/5. |

| Loved it. Ufotable obviously has its haters but fuck them. The animations is different and i think its very well done. Honestly Ufotable should just make one anime each season and it should have its own genre called "Ufotable", cause i know tht most of the time its gonna be sick |

| Average first episode. The main character seems to be a bit generic, and the whole premise of the show has already been done before. I like the OP song though. |

| Whoa the Day 1 comments, didn't know there was much of a hype for this series. Overall badass first episode, 2nd time I've seen this animation style so it's nice and new for me. I'm guessing future series might follow the same animation style too? |

| interesting art style, but - yeah, i know - nothing more like „shingeki no kyojin of the future without spiderman action but heavy guns“. i sense nothing special except the different art style (for 3D pretty good). and to much „Testosteron guys“ … and again there is one special young boy who will safe the day: boring. well, i dont expect anything. |

| Finally we get something different visually speaking, and people can only complain about the CGI and animations which seemed more than decent to me btw. I'll never understand you guys. Anyway, pretty good, the plot seems generic but we all came here knowing this so I don't really see the problem. The VAs are extraordinary, I wonder how much budget went only for that. Surely looking forward to it. |

| the VA lineup in this series is so good and i liked the music too, though like most everyone the animation almost hurts my eyes. probably wont drop it even if its bad it kills 20 minutes between other stuff for me anyways |

| [center][size=90]Ehh...could have done with a bit more worldbuilding. I was incredibly confused for the first half of the episode. We've got a little bit of other anime in this one! SnK ( walls, 'gotta-kill-em-all' attitude ), Owari no Seraph ( main protagonist appearance, especially ), and...Kekkai Sensen? ( one of the characters looks a lot like Zapp Renfro ). Considering that the protagonists of SnK and Owari no Seraph are the characters that I hate...even though I'm finding Renka alright for now, I have this sinking feeling that he's going to become intolerable later in the show. Especially with that shounen MC screaming..."I'm going to kill them all! You can't stop me! I'm an arrogant bastard and a two-year-old can follow directions better than I can!" I hope that Renka doesn't end up that way, but it really seems like he will. The fact that he looks like Yuu of Owari no Seraph is already giving me negative feelings because, well, to put it simply, I couldn't stand Yuu at all. *war flashbacks* I just hope this isn't going to become a mashup of above anime with an animation style that reminds me of...the Cartoon Network show 'Storm Hawks', actually. Like, seriously, I was getting huge Storm Hawks vibes of off the art here and I've only ever watched one episode of that show. From the giant billboard they had at AX for this series, and the postponement of the first episode, I had guessed it's supposed to be a hyped and highly-anticipated show, so I was quite excited to watch this. Unfortunately, I think I'm a bit disappointed. |

| was looking forward to this but i dislike the art style ill still watch it but ehh with a normal animation style would be better seemed a bit rushed though like hes alone in the world then suddenly in the place? |

| Animation is top notch, but we all know that the GEB story is pretty plain. I have a feeling that the further episodes will be a train wreck. Hopefully not. (¬_¬) |
