| Wait so Gege had Gojo practically washing Sukuna effortlessly in the last couple chapters, and literally had him declared the victor in the previous chapter, only to come back this week and not only reveal that Sukuna beat Gojo WITHOUT going all out, but his death was offscreened???? I'm sick to my fucking stomach, that doesn't sit right with me at all. I'll wait and see how things play out in the coming chapters but this will definitely make me reconsider how I originally planned on scoring this manga when it ends. If you're going to kill off Satoru fucking Gojo at least have the balls to actually SHOW it, otherwise wtf was even the point of chapter 235?? I feel like there would be less controversy if the previous chapter never happened, and THIS was chapter 235 instead (with us actually seeing Gojo's death happen). |

| @Issax28 I wouldn't necessarily say that killing Gojo is cheap writing, I feel like that's mostly dependent on HOW his death is handled. He's OP as fuck, so as you said, he needs to die or at least be incapacitated (like when he was sealed) so that the other characters can actually do something, otherwise they could just throw Gojo out there to handle all of their problems and call it a day and no one else gets to shine. So killing him in and of itself isn't cheap, but in terms of how it happened, yea you can definitely say that the writing there left a lot to be desired. |

Killing Gojo was probably necessary for story progression. But is there any character that's up to par to Sukuna now then considering Gojo was "the strongest"? Is Kishimo capable of finishing Sukuna off? Then we have another problem with Kenjaku and all that. |
