| Just dropped on Crunchy. Actual good isekai is back with a 90 minutes treat that had indeed a lot going on from the usual banter to some heavier stuff. Nice to see that Subaru keeps training hard. Gotta live up to the status of a living legend, lol. He still has lots of work to do in puncto jealousy, however. And I think that Joshua looking like Julius doesn't make it that surprising that they're brothers. If anything it would more surprising if they weren't. Now Heinkel couldn't be more different than his father and son. Must've been a more graceful fellow in the past, currently he's a less pleasant alcoholic than Paul to say the least. And he got fucking bad timing. Him pulling up ruined the sweet Okoyominaki bonding moment. Unlike Wilhelm he definitely won't show earnest efforts to reconcile with his Reinhard. Garfiel also had an unexpected reunion with his mother. Liked the part where Mimi enocuraged him and him saving the children. We even had a brief appearance of Elsa in Garf's imagination. Would be cool if she sticks around like that for a while until he becomes truly strong. But the obvious highlight was Sirius performance. Up to that point I was wondering why this episode was titled Theatrical Malice. Didn't take long to notice that something was off by how uncanningly she captured her audience, especially after dragging Lusbel onto the stage. Nothing like the charming Liliana. That scene was progressively getting more intense until everyone became as insane as her. As if her manipulation ability wasn't creepy enough, the fact that Lusbel's deadly impact triggered a similar fatal injury for everyone was just crazy. Damn, Subaru's Return by Death doesn't seem to get old. Being 4 years since the last season probably helped tbh. And it makes for as good of a cliffhanger than at the end of S1's premiere over 8 years ago. Now I'm stoked for next week. That was a promising comeback episode with lots of Japanese flavor. Loved to see cast and some new characters. Liliana playing into the waifu bait aspect of the series doesn't take away from her being an enjoyable character. And it's always funny to see that someone is calling Subaru out for what he is.  I appreciate the selfawareness of Tappei. Anyway, heard great things about this arc and in particular the one after that. Not going in expecting "peak fiction" or the best arc of all time, but I hope it lives up to expectations. If it ends up blowing me away because I wasn't ready even better xD |

| Great episode for everyone to get back into the ReZero world and it was 90 minutes! A full episode of good things happening leading to a cliffhanger ending is exactly what we needed. Glad I didn't just jump into watching the leak 2 months ago or I would have been impatient wanting to see more |
| It’s finally here, the long awaited water city arc. Whatever you thought you knew about re zero or how good you thought the previous two seasons were, forget it. This is where it truly becomes one of the greatest fantasy stories ever told. The fact we’re getting arc 5 and 6 back to back is just incredible. Yea, White fox nailed it. They got all the little details, the subtle hints, the intimate character moments that’ll make some of the big reveals and set pieces in this season hit hard, bra fucking o. Could not ask for a better start to this season. The animation quality, art, direction all top notch and really feels as polished as the season 1 director’s cut. If they can keep this up for 38 episodes we are in for an all time great season of anime ladies and gentlemen and I don’t mean that hyperbolically. So many great moments I could talk about this episode hours, but just highlighting my top 3, the Van Astrea family reunion was so good. You really feel the regret and pain in Wilhelm’s voice. Like my mom always says, sometimes you can be apart for so long that it’s hard to reconnect with people. Wilhelm clearly wants to be close to at least his grandson again, but he knows all the cruel shit he said to him and just doesn’t know how to move forward.. if only he knew Reinhard is dying to have that family connection again. Garfiel seeing his mom again, wow. Just as he’d kind of began moving forward sbd learning to cope with the pain, she pops right up in front of him with a whole new family. His seiyuu sold the hell out of that scene. Priscilla literally stole the show in the last 35 minutes or so. She’s such a dominating presence and I can’t wait to see her shine this season. And of course that ending, wow. The whole crowd cheering for and gassing Sirius up as she’s about to kill an innocent child is killing me tho man 😭 you just knew from the jump that situation was going to go horribly. Subaru’s seen a lot of shit, but something like that is definitely vomit worthy. Hell of an ending and speaking of which, Myth and Roid back with another banger. We’re officially back boys. Can’t fucking wait |

| PEAK!!! Re:Zero IS BACK!!! 90 minutes in the first episode was a great opening for this amazing show. Season 3 has better art and visuals than season 2 especially the ears of the characters have been fixed this season and I'm fine with the changes in some of these character designs I think White Fox has done a very good job. Subaru and Beako's relationship is very cute, it's nice to see Beako behaving like this. Emilia with a buff on her boobs is amazing and considering there is a 1 year timeskip it means that something happened during this year to Emilia who got the buff kekw. Damn Regulus makes people nervous, suddenly interrupting the fun time in this episode, Subaru didn't take long to take Emilia to leave quickly, and also hopefully fate brings them back together. It's good to see the candidates reappear in this show, I'm very curious about Priscilla's character for some reason. Reinhard and his family have tough problems too, hope Reinhard can take the rights from his father one day. Liliana's character introduction is also interesting, it looks like Liliana will get a big role this season too, hope to see more of Liliana, I love her song. Sirius, what a great character introduction, I felt like I was hypnotized too lol, I didn't expect them all to be hypnotized by her. The OST in this moment is amazing, the animation when Lusbel's face hits the ground gives me goosebumps. Return by death saves Subaru again and again, and Subaru is traumatized again and again, a very awesome first episode, can't wait for the next episode, GO GO SUBARU!!!  |

| Oh yes, we're now back in business and characters were not late to show up. With the royal selection at hand every candidate is now at Anastasia's domain and with them their respective knights and representatives. That includes Subaru now with such a devoted relationship with Beatrice, Julius and his devoted brother, Reinhard and his grandfather Willheim and Garf whose backstory and recent relationship with Mimi came into fruition. In the case of Reinhard Priscilla even uninvited was sure to make an appearance to stir things up with his father as all of the mess he's caused. In any case, for the matter at hand, the aimed trade for the mana crystal fell through the first time due to Subaru's unexpected relationship with the bard, but they were able to meet again shortly after. While during that trade it seems like a new archbishop entered the scene and promptly killed him in a very unsettling scene of mind control. Yup, this is definitely Re:Zero and so after a movie length worthy episode the season can now start. |

| Looked pretty good as expected. Interested to see more of Liliana and the Wrath cultist. Other than that 8/10 for me so far. |

| Joshua sure resembled upper society more than his bro did. Mimi and Garf sure managed to forge quite the bond. The water city sure lives up to its name with that view. The duet between them after though was fun. Nice to meet Felt and Crusch again. Always fun seeing the latter get embarrassed. The breakfast sure was joyful. The morning broadcast was a pretty neat idea. The entry of Heinkel sure messed up that perfect breakfast though. That git is an embarassement to the Astrea family. Unfortunate that this meeting had the worst of gate crashers in the form of the witch cult. That scene in the square though was beyond unsettling. But from this point on the battle against the cult begins anew. Aya Yamane is such a talented singer. She was the perfect cast for Liliana. But wow to have the opening ep be movie length really shows the faith the prod commitee has as well as the amount of budget that was earmarked for this season. |

| We are so back, and with a movie length premiere? White Fox has poured so much love into this adaptation, we’re eating so good. Admittedly my memory is pretty hazy on the events of the previous season that I didn’t go back and rewatch lol, but it was great to see these familiar faces again, along with some new ones like Liliana. Of course it wouldn’t be Re:Zero without some fucked up shit happening, and the final 10 minutes gave us that since things were way too calm up until that point. That whole sequence was insane. Glad to have this show back and I can’t wait to see where this season takes us. Oh yea, I’m shocked we actually heard the OP (as the ending technically), that might be one of the handful of times we’ll actually get to hear it this season 💀 |

| Now that’s how you end on a nasty and creepy cliffhanger. I’m looking forward to 15 more this season and more! Just when everything seemed to be going okay (well, aside from the van Astrea family drama which wasn’t exactly the most clear but I imagine that’s just for now), that happens! And hey, I knew it’d end like this, lol. Creepy hypnosis time and Regulus Corneas is around too, things are really heating up here already. And of course there’s Madam Priscilla too… We haven’t seen Garfiel for a while now, I wonder what’s up there. Haunted by Elsa-san, was that his first kill? I assumed he was used to it so could it be some other reason, hmm. There was a close shot on the mother that seemed to suggest something as well. It’s nice to see Felt-chan after a while! And her relationship with Reinhard is hilarious. Karsten-san and Felix-CHAN’s relationship is just as strong if not more, xD. I’m going to have to keep raising questions with every episode and then see if I’ve the answers by the end of the season. S2 was a maze for me, lmao. |
